LoST aND aLONE

hides someone lost and alone
behind the eyes that hold dignity and pride
hides someone that cant find their way back home
on the outside shes so happy
a face full of joy
on the inside she feels nothing
empty...like a childs' toy
she smiles
cuz she tries her best not to cry
she smile
to laugh away the tears from her eyes
she laughs
as to not let a sob escaper her lips
she laughs
as to not remember the things that she misses
she looks ahead
and sees nothing but darkness in sight
she looks back
and feels the fires of hell burning her eyes
shes trapped...
as she realizes this, her heart breaks
she tries her best to keep calm
wondering how much more she can take...
finally she gives up
and lets go
this lost, lonely, innocent girls
is gone...shes no more... |
