no one's there.
to catch me when i fall,
or when i trip in the hall;
to help dig me out of this hole.
no one's there.
to wipe away my tears,
to whisper in my ears;
to tell me everything's going to be okay.
no one's there.
to right me when i'm wrong,
to help me move along;
to look forward to another day.
no one's there.
there's never been anyone there...
and there never will be. |
