yOU wERE neVER mINE

that i could "turn to you for anything"
hearing those words come from your lips
just made my heart melt and sing
but now, i realize
how much of a liar you are
just promising little lies
to get what you desire
i hate myself for believing you
even more so for making myself believe that you were "different"
i should have known from the start,
that everything you said, was just bullshit
looking in the distance
and seeing nothing but the breeze
breaks my heart into a million pieces
as i try to think of things to put my corrupted mind at ease
i try to calm down, but thinkin of you
makes me want to die
i gave all of myself to you
only to find out, you were never mine |
