So Called Love

For stuff I don't even to
As you beat me down
With your words and fists
I began to cry
Why can't you see my tears?
Can't you see you're hurting me?
But I love you so I take the beating
And learned to cover up th bruises
To hid them from the world
So no one knows
Your dirty little secret
And to think all I ever
Asked from you was to love me
Instead you gave me fears
And with fears came nightmares
Of worst things to come
But you say you love me
And can't live without me
I really believe you mean that
My girlfriends tell me I'm crazy
I'm starting to believe it myself
But you have this hold over me
That I can't escape
So what can I do
But to stay with you... |
