» Poem: Hiding the truth
Hiding the truth
written by lifelessangel

I'm hiding the truth,
About what happened that day,
Only to protect you,
I wouldn't want your daughter,
To be brought up without a farther,
But she doesn't deserve a dad like you,
She deserves better,
She'll live a life of hell,
If only I could help her,
She wouldn't belive me,
She's too young to understand,
But when she grows up,
She'll be able to see threw you,
And hate you the way I do,
But she'll be brave enough,
To show how she feels,
While I sit here,
Been the fake,
Living in fear of you.
