Love
written by Death Tone01:16 AM 3/22/05When the dark moon rises
My love for you the only thing that remains
I could die the deaths of a thousand men
Yet my heart will still beat just as strong for you
All the anger I feel, or the hatred that is buried deep within my skin
Released by the only words that you speak that are true to me
Your love the only thing that makes me give a damn anymore
I could quite happily just give up
Crawl back into this cave where my demons hide
Never to be released on to my fellow man
Yet you lure me out of hiding
You show me that life might not be as bad after all
You teach me that pain and misery are a part of life
But they are not compulsory to survive
But love is
Without love we do not survive
We mealy exist until the time runs out on yet another poor soul
To feel love can be the changing of your destiny
For that one moment that you feel it you know why you were put on this earth
For that one moment everything makes sense
You can finally be at peace with yourself
No more sleepless nights
No more nightmares
Even if it all comes crashing down around you
You should still feel blessed
Blessed because you were given the chance to feel
What others would kill to feel
What others have killed to feel
Don’t take for granted these feelings
If they hurt its because they are suppose to
Its how its suppose to be
As they say
Its better to have loves and lost
Than to never have loved at all |
