I thought you knew (plz comment, thnx)

A girl about teenage
No one really knew her,
Didn't even know her name.
Lost the will to try.
Lost the will to live.
Couldn't handle the pain,
Couldn't keep strugglin'.
Trapped in a world no one knew
In a world no one saw
All alone by herself
Thinking of ways to end it all.
The only one who really cared
Was the one who couldn't stay.
He was the one that promised everything
Right before he went away.
Away to a better life
No more pain for him.
God opened up the clouds,
Then forgave him of his sins.
She would of went right then too,
But there was nothing she could do.
Had to stay alive for him
To keep the promise true.
Promised him to live forever
She could do so much with her life
And before she put the gun to her head,
She really did think twice.
Thought twice about breaking it,
But he left her all alone.
She tried to honor the promise,
But he really should of known.
Known he was her everything,
There was nothing else she could do.
Held the gun up to her head.
Whispering, "I really thought you knew"
"Knew that I needed you,
But you just had to go away."
Now she's just that one girl,
Fading away on the front page.. |
