» Poem: Memories
Memories
written by sevenist_wanderer

You plague me everywhere,
No matter the where,
The rain brings back the tears I cried,
The thunder that one dark phrase,
Which killed me there that day,

The snow brings memories of your beauty,
The ice your perfect eyes,
but we cannot go back to what was,
For what was has made us what we are,
And what I am is a soulless shell,

I have only a body,
No mind or soul,
Not even the will to live,
I haven't the love that I once had,
Now I'm just a wanderer,
Wandering into the sunset,
Following the moon
