» Poem: Imperfect.
Imperfect.

Her life always seemed perfect
She was always smiling
Who wouldve known it was fake
Who knew about all the scars
Who saw the tears when they fell
Nobody did
Nobody wanted to
We never knew she was hiding
Hiding behind a smile
The smile she grew to hate
All she wore was pink
Walking through the halls
On a normal school day
You hear a girl as she cries
Looking around just to see
Her sitting on the cold floor
Tears streaming down her face
She covers her eyes
Trying to hold back tears
You see scars upon her wrists
You whisper its gonna be okay
Pulling her into an embrace
You can feel her shiver
And hear as she tries so hard to swallow her tears
As she mutters It'll never be okay
Rubbing her back
You hear her whimper in pain
She says her dad was angry
She said it was what she deserved
As she pulls away from you
Running away
Afraid her imperfect life is now known.
