» Poem: Bringing Dusk
Bringing Dusk
written by Trekie

Warm beams upon bare skin,

Eyes close slowly in the light.

A shudder.

caramel colored leaves fly from trees,

falling in a suicidal leap to the ocean of color on the ground.

Soft winds make the ocean lap up gold and red.

Opening eyes again,

brings on the hush of night.
