» Poem: In My Eyes
In My Eyes
written by DarkeningBeauty

In my eyes,
Blood pours for every corner,
Glinting fresh,
But stained with guilt.
Deaf and blind and numb,
I walk these empty woods,
Hoping that someone,
Something,
Will find me,
So fall upon and drown,
In these crimson cascading seas,
Waiting for the rich to be homeless,
Dreaming the the crownless will be king*,
A pale dream cannot be cleasned,
Or hurt by the unholy,
As an angel cannot be lured,
Cannot be tricked,
Into falling in with Satan.
So in my eyes,
I see nothing.
In my eyes,
I see hell.
In my eyes,
I see the world.
