You, my dear

How did I get saved?
Why do I have a place to dwell?
Why have I become so brave?
How did I ever kick the habit?
How did I let go of the past?
How come I'm not scared anymore?
And why did I finish first, instead of last?
How did I win the race?
How did I pick up the pace?
Why do I feel alright again?
Why are there no tears staining my face?
The answer to all the questions,
confusing my brain.
Is you my dear,
you saved me from all my pain.
For that I love you,
and I thank you for the rest of my life.
I never wanna leave you for a single moment,
I'm dreaming of being your wife. |
