Just The Way I Feel About You

Beseeching your innocence
Wondering if you felt my glances
As unseen romances come into view
Would you accept my demeanor
Even if decades lay between
If I made the right move
To speak of your beauty
Would I find your desire the same
Or would shame speak out my name?
Though I have no way of knowing
Youths acceptance
I will remain the poet that I am
And express my thoughts
The way I do
Just the way I feel about you. |
