My Beloved

She slid down the blade
Watching her depression and scars begin to fade
As she sat there in guilt
She knew what had been built
All her life she was alone
On the other line was the dial tone
One day she met him and her heart began to love
She didn’t know it just a spell
As the needle went through the pure white dove
She felt the need
She gathered strength on a human as she began to feed
She hid from it all in the dark brisk shade
Her breath heavy and afraid
As her love began to fade
As she thought of the man she had once loved
In her arms dead
Her beloved Jade…
