Water

The sweet cool moisture
Slides down my throat
And lands in my stomach
Ahhh...
So refreshing
And the best thing?
It doesn't talk back.
Whenever I was stressed
I came to you
Now I've found
You've turned your back
And we are no more
But water has never failed me
I can trust it
Along with breathing
To clear my head
Of all mixed emotions
And find what I really am searching for |
