The waves are crashing against the rock.
I am alone on this beach, no one knows.
I sit here, looking over at the dock.
I hear the ocean air, as it blows.
It is getting to be late now, oh no,
The sky is getting dark and filled with stars.
I could stay longer, there's no need to go.
I lay in the sand, looking up at Mars.
I am feeling so unhappy, so blue.
I am getting drowsy, fighting the sleep.
I'm thinking of things of petty value,
As I lay dying on this sandy beach.
The blue ocean is the last that I see,
Lying here, dying here, no one's with me. |
