» Poem: Though Darkness comes
Though Darkness comes
written by nicole_lyndon

Though darkness comes,
And shadows fall,
I have a light, that is within.
No, it is not big, though it is small,
It burns so bright,
And shines so tall.
Though night, it calls
And all rays, night breaks,
This light inside- shines it for your sake.
A flaming beacon that guides my way,
Through the rough seas
And through storms that sway,
And back to you- it brings me always,
It is a shining flame of love so true.
Through paths un-chartered and places unseen,
It never wanes,
But always gleams, brightly...
Though darkness comes and shadows fall,
This dazzling love,
Stands fit and tall.
