Into the night
written by The Black Halo07:27 PM 3/24/05The stars cling to the night sky like
Shards of glass on blackened snow,
The rain plummets on the ground
And reflects the moon's deep glow.
A knife is drawn from it's bronze sheath
And glistens like silver seas,
The grass beside it sways with the
Command of the nature's breeze.
A red moon lay near the tip of
The amethyst athame,
Resting beneath it's beauty -
A lilac lunar display.
A bolt of azure lightning strikes
And cuts between the two moons,
The moons they seperate like the
Dirt below a pitch fork's groom.
Into the deep I fly away
And live in the star filled night,
I watch the rain paint a picture
On it's canvas - on the sky. |
