torture

with memories? I see your face
behind my closed eyes and in your frozen smile
Linger thoughts of you I never knew existed.
Why won't you let me Take the coward's way out
and just block out the pain. I’d rather be numb
than go through this agony of a broken heart.
If time heals all wounds, Then why won't you allow me
A single moments peace In which it may at least
Stop the bleeding, Rather than watching me die here,
Cold and naked, Baring my soul to you?
I am at the mercy of a monster and though you will always
have my love, a monster you must be
for no one with a heart could make another bear such pain. |
