Heart So Weak

many times, and now
I'm back in this relationship situation
all over again,
but, this time is different than the rest
my weak heart, becomes stronger
with each day we're together...
every day we miss each other...
and each night I dream of you...
although my heart is weak,
you make my soul stronger...
although my hand shakes with fear,
one touch from you...
and I become still....
I'm afraid of falling for you....
my weak heart isn't ready right now..
you are the reason I wake up in the morning...
the first thing I think of when I wake....
and the last thing I think of before I fall asleep
every night I thank god
that he gave me one more day with you
and I beg him for many more....
and with each passing day
I regert not telling you
that you mean the world to me,
and that you're always on my mind...
although my heart is weak
I know I want to love you forever,
until the end of time...
but everytime I want to say it
I get scared you don't feel the same...
but everytime I think about you
I smile, and my heart skips a beat
I wish you were here with me
to make me stronger....
you make me feel so free....
because when I'm with you,
you make my heart stronger,
and my knees weak....
I miss you more than you know
more than my weak heart will ever let you know.... |
