Smoking
written by brokenxsmile10:35 PM 3/24/05Why do you smoke?
Why can't you see?
You're slowing killing yourself
Why won't you listen to me?
It's bad enough you have ulcers
You're just making them worse
You've tried to quit before
But it's just like a curse
I'm sorry you're so stressed out
And that you've become addicted
You said that you could stop if you wanted
But that was quickly contradicted
You don't see how pathetic it is
That you're dependent on a cigarette
But they can't solve your problems
No matter what, they won't help you forget
Is it a just simply a lost cause
Trying to convince you that it's true
I just want you to be safe, honey
I really worry about you |
