» Poem: Black Roses
Black Roses
written by brokenxsmile

She's sitting in her room
Dark, empty, abandoned
She's feeling so left out
Alone and miserably stranded
Here she has no one
Only the memories of you
And of those memories are
How you broke her heart in two
The only physical evidence
That she has of your existance
Are the black roses you gave to her
When you made her think she had a chance
They've long been dead
Just like your love for her
She's pricking her fingers on the thorns
As she sits in front of the bathroom mirror
She watches the crimson blood
And paints those black roses
The color they are supposed to be
And the bathroom door she closes
She smiles through her blood red tears
Now her roses are finally pretty
They aren't black roses anymore
They are alive and not wilting
She lays them next to her body
Right there on the bathroom floor
And she pulls the trigger and sighs
And now is she no more
