» Poem: Ode to Jason
Ode to Jason
written by muffinlord
02:39 AM 3/26/05
i woke up last sunday morning,
my phone tinging in my ears,
it was my best friend calling,
my eyes swelled up in tears.

i loved and i cared;
my heart was torn that day,
when i had this news i sweared,
he's sweet voice had gone away.

it was then the phone went crashing,
my barefeet tred to the car,
my friend told me the directions,
the scene was not to far.

the car halted as the doors slammed,
his body mangled on the floor,
my hands were vigorously trembling,
i will see his smiles no more.

screw the guy who killed!
drunk driving led us to this wall,
now my one and only is gone,
and it eats my heart up until i fall.

i'll love you forever jason,
don't forget me, ill still call.
