First Day

everything making u feel even more awkward,
nothing beats the lonely feeling of ur first day.
Feeling hopeless as u walk down the crowded halls,
saying hi my name is new kid,
an excuse to do everything wrong, today i can fall.
trying to go with the flow just to blend in,
it doesnt seem to be working,
but i still can manage to hold a grin.
hoping that this nightmare will be over soon,
everyone saying my name wrong,
unsure if thats the bell to leave, hey its almost noon
i lost my appetite around lunch,
i have nobody to sit with anyway,
sometimes lonliness makes u unwilling to munch.
everybodys saying hi,
hearing different advice about the school,
i donno who to trust yet,im confused so i just sigh.
i hear people whispering back and forth
not caring if i hear a word,
i cant help but feel like such a dork
all this misery finally ends for now,
i excuse the strange looks i get this whole day,
i made it through the first day and i dont know how. |
