What Do You Do When Darkness Falls?

The waiting, the repeated words
The wasted feelings
It's the same old shit time and time again
And ten out of ten times I've tried and failed
At this game called love
I've tried to sit in the shadows and stay silent
But it always seems to get the best of me
I always end saying something even though
I try so hard to hold my tongue
Do I like this punishment? Is that why I fall into this same hole
Over and over again?
Either way, I'm still left with a heartful of one-sided feelings
To comfort me when the darkness falls |
