Broken Hearts And Promises
written by xXlove+hateXx11:21 AM 3/26/05u asked me why i didnt trust anyone,
so i opened up my heart,
all my troubles were forgotten when our
conversations begun.
i found myself in love with u,
keeping it to myself
hoping u'd feel the same way too.
i talked about how other guys hurt me,
u promised that u never wud do the same,
and i actually believed thee.
i was sure that u were the one,
that u wudnt break my heart,
that my search was done.
but after everything, u did break my heart,
even tho u promised u wudnt,
now im feeling torn apart.
after a while u say that ur stupid for thinking
it wud work,
i thot about this for a while,
and i guess im stupid for thinking the same.
u wanna forget about this all,
u say that it might be for the best,
i hesitate to agree but i do anyway while im
catching tears as they fall.
ill pretend this never occured,
but i learned never to trust again,
im not believing one word.
u said u wouldnt break my heart,
u promised,
and now the fact that ur ignoring this is like stabbing my heart with a dart. |
