Pain

But no matter what I do
I can’t seem to succeed
I have cried tears of joy
I have shed tears of sadness
And to the mouth of the lion of depression I feed
Your smile is beautiful
Your tears are sad
And your poems I do read
I always wonder
What it’s like to be happy
And to be on the noble steed
You shunned me
When I tried to help
And the pain reeks
I want you to be happy
I want your pain to go away
But no matter what I do, we’re both in pain |
