Touching Snow On The Window
written by cryptic_misery09:07 PM 3/26/05Placing your flesh against the glass
You can almost feel the coolness
From the outside, so bitter.
Your eyes lay upon the fleece colored blanket
That covers every part of the soil and grass..
Pallid, pearly, glacier-sand flakes
Each one so delicate and simplistic.
An icy white wonderland that floats down
From the fluffy sallow clouds from above
And rendering the droplets from your
Organ of vision, nonetheless
Staining your cheeks with frozen tears, so boreal.
This winter so immaculate, free from tarnish
Pure and clear, with a vanilla-ivory display
It lays still, and ready for the hands of children
To dance on the milky road of snowy bliss...
I look at you from this outside world
While you grief with monstrosity
Leaning against your window pane of bluster
And I see that happiness has failed you... |
