Changing

I knew that you would read it
but somehow youjust didn't see it
the flame of truthe was out
so I just helped it get lit
It doesn't really matter now. What you do.
I know we usually sort things through
but now things have changed, and we
both are different, or maybe it is just you
I didn't belive it when they said 'friends come and go'
But now that it has happened to me I
can say 'thats fo' sho'
I hope it won't be like in the movies
where friends become enemies
but even the strongest things
like glaciers
drift apart at sea
Now I am left at a stand still
so much of what I had planned involved you
I just don't think I can take it or stand it I just don't
have the will
I won't make the effort that you wont make
I just won't
you took all there was left to take. |
