the lonliness inside me

this darkness that dwells in my heart
this darkness that is penetrated by only your love
the love of your heart
the darkness of my lonliness
the darkness of evil hatred
i am eaten alive by it
it never ceases its slow chewing
it chews my soul into bits
i am consumed wholly by my love for you |
