In The Dark
written by wind_wanderer04:41 AM 3/27/05Darkness.
It's here again.
I can't see.
Please, please don't let them get me.
I wisper a soft spell of protection.
I am still scared.
It won't help, I know it won't.
For,
They come for me in the dark.
Silence.
No, I hear it.
I hear the murmers
Softly spoken in the blackness.
I am not alone anymore.
I wish I was.
But, I am not.
For,
They come for me in the dark.
Emptyness.
Though, I sense it,
They are very close.
The room is cluttered with souls.
It is smothering.
Why won't they let me be?
I do not know.
But, I wish I did.
All I know is,
They come for me in the dark.
Nothingness.
Then, I feel it.
It is in me.
Make it stop.
Please, make it stop!
I cannot move.
My screams are silenced.
I am left to suffer an eternity alone.
Because,
They come for me in the dark. |
