» Poem: tell me something real
tell me something real
written by morbidhands898

the days pass me by like you do on the streets.
I toss and I turn underneath these sheets.
I regret every minute I have fallen for you.
but I cant control every step that I do.
I made my mistakes and I shut down again.
You do not see me. We can't even be friends.
I try to live with confidence but I fail to see,
that I do not belong at all. It's just not me.
You're never in shame. You never regret.
You sit down so lively smoking your cigerettes.
Thinking so clearly but not seeing it clear.
I have be taken over. Taken over by fear.
You seem like a dream. Not there at all.
But I get hurt so much when i trip and fall.
Your voice does not reach me. I cant hear you again.
Tell me something real, so my truth wont be hard to bend.
