» Poem: Our World
Our World
written by mychemromance
05:39 AM 3/27/05
Women and children hide form the bullets only to breathe the suffacating gas which now plagues the air. They struggle to take another breath from the deadly black smoke that has filled their lungs. They cry. They weep. They die.
This is our world.
Young men fight the battles through the fear of losing their lives for something that will eventually happen again latter in life. They know some will die and their bodies left to lye in the sand, grass, or water to be found after decades.
This is our world.
War has come and gone throughout history. It will never end as long as humans walk the Earth. It will just rise up to claim more innocent lives.
This is our world.
This is the end.
