Why I'll never be a star
written by Starry_Nyght07:02 AM 3/27/05Let's face it, I'm no star
No one expects me to go far
I can't sing like Angelic Guy
Hitting those notes unfathomably high
I can't write a tome like Lord of The Rings
I don't have the patience for that type of thing
I can't write cools song like Elton John
I can't run like Cathy Freeman for too long
I can't speak my piece like a politician
Not that I'd want to, everyone hates 'em
I'm not a genius like Madam Curie
I'm nothing special, just lil' old me.
I'll go through this life
Its trouble and strife
It'll cut like a knife
But hey, that's life. |
