» Poem: Clown Boy
Clown Boy
written by purpleppleater

Clown boy wanted to go to the fair
his mother wouldn’t let him
“You’ll be mistaken for one of those wretched clowns!”
she yelled and kicked him into his room and locked the door.
Clown boy stayed happy,
clowns never cry, except the sad ones.
He hopped off his bed and paced his room.
He knew he would go to the fair,
so he practiced his goofy laugh,
HooHAHUHahahahuhuhu.
He used his play hammer and broke the window,
his evil mother heard,
so she shrunk him
and added him to her ugly figurine collection on the mantel.
