I love the line,
"If you can't leave it be, might as well make it bleed."
It's got meaning and hearth
It's strong the way
I never could be.

Love is the "scalpel"
that I want to wrap my fingers around.
Especially the cavalry that
couldn't save me if they
sent in their strongest.

Alone in this neon yellow
and lime green world
with the posters on my walls
as the only dates i'll ever have.

I have a small knowledge
of the things that
those hard-bodied,
"sexy" people go through.
But it's not worse, by far,
than what I've encountered.

In comparision to that blonde
way in the corner,
I've had my fair share of heartbreak.
More than she might meet in her whole lifetime.
My body is a roadmap
of a country that life,
just won't let me
revisit.

Not too bad. If you're unsure about the spelling of a word you should spell-check, or better yet, use a dictionary. There's a couple of words that aren't properly written or used. "Hearth" is an example. Using a quote in a poem is questionable at best, but i'm willing to accept it. Keep writing, i'm sure your writing will become more vivid. -Uli
