» Poem: A Love Once Tasted
A Love Once Tasted
written by nicole_lyndon
10:15 AM 3/28/05
So many days, so much time wasted.
Spent searching for, remembering, a love once tasted.
How does one go on after loving one so much?
How can one live without the others touch?
Things happen so fast, in so many ways.
Lonely hearts broken, crying for days.
Sweet memories, soft painful smiles.
Long separations, feel seem like miles.
Light hated, darkness a treasure.
Remembering is the only form of pleasure.
Thinking fondly of what is lost.
Wanting it back, no matter the cost.
So many days, so much time wasted.
Spent searching for, remembering, a love once tasted.
