» Poem: Blinded By Your Love
Blinded By Your Love
written by nicole_lyndon
10:23 AM 3/28/05
I was blinded by your love
when I looked at you.
It took a little shove
into a pit of hell, showing you were never true.

Everytime I went to close my eyes,
I couldn't without visualizing you.
A fool that I was, I listened to your lies,
and believed they were true.

For you I would have done anything.
For that my heart was played with like a toy.
To you I was just another fling,
and the whole time you were so calm and coy.

I'm not blinded by your love anymore,
now I'm blinded by my tears.
I'm tired of fighting my own heart-torn war,
now facing loneliness, apart of my worst fears!
