Alone
written by ForsakenDream02:58 PM 3/28/05I've lived most of my life in fear,
Holding the past ever near.
Wishing I could wash the feeling away,
realizing I have missed another day.
Feeling the sickness rise inside,
Killing away the things I hide.
What is left for me to do?
But to give up on anything that is true.
Waiting for myself in the night,
I cry myself to sleep again tonight.
Feeling so alone here in bed,
The rain falls and echoes through my head. |
