Left in the battlefield-please comment!

with towering robots overhead
flesh from my arm has been pealed
as over the towering monster I sped
he reached up his arm
and tore through my skin
he can cause no more harm
for he will not win
my fellow soldiers disappeared
don't know if they're dead
but I do know the monster has neared
and I don't wish to lose my head
The sounds of mechanical whirring
flow in an everlasting sea
it feels as if they're purring
at the thought of killing me
Thank God I'm almost there
they're almost all gone now
for I surely do not care
why or just quite how
they are leaving have I won
no I fear
the game has just begun
something is coming here
Oh God now I see
that they were running from something bigger
the biggest robot in this mechanical sea
is ripping apart the others!
I fall to my knees
and start to pray
I am too young to die
make this nightmare go away
but alas he is still nearing
and I have no choice to run
now its eyes look like they're searing
as bright and hot as the desert sun
but then just as it seems
that I've run out of luck
I wake and find it was all a dream
Man, what the FUCK?!? |
