Ahh!

But you’ve always stayed
I want to ask
Why put up with me
But am afraid of the answer
I don’t know what I’d do
Without your love
Without your support
You’ve always been like my sister
You never judged me
Just smiled
And said “I understand”
But I don’t
Why are we so far away
And haven’t spoken in days
You claim I’m being mean
But how
When you’re the one turning your back
Just last week
You said you’d always listen
And I said I’d do the same
But your conversations are all the same
And so is your focus
Our bond has been broken
I’ve been replaced
By someone more like you
Boyfriend obsessed
And not caring about those you’ve left behind
It may sound like I’ve given up
And maybe I should
But I can’t help remembering the good times
Laughing
Lying on my kitchen floor
I feel I should apologize
My jealousness
And my shortness
Gets us no where
But you’re the one leaving me
While I’m left
On the kitchen floor
Making new friends with the dust bunnies |
