Insomnia
written by ieatsmellysocks04:43 AM 3/29/05Another sleepless night.
I close my stinging eyes.
I wish for someone,anyone,
To hear my helpless cries.
Shadows dance upon my wall,
And a fly buzzes overhead.
No matter what,i cannot sleep,
I toss and turn in bed.
My hamster runs in his wheel.
I struggle to block out the sound.
I hear whispers in my ear,
Yet no one is around.
The tv's on in the living room,
And brother's got his gun.
I wait in hopes of falling asleep,
Until i'm greeted by the sun. |
