Built with uncertainty
written by butcakes12:16 PM 3/29/05The two builders start construction- there is really five builders, but there’s only ever two you can see.
The first night of construction: cement, sand and water mixed and make quicker than expected!
This structure looks promising!
The builders have taken a chance at the shape of this structure, but what a chance to take! This being The most solid structure they may have ever constructed!
The other three builders stand in the background, everyone knows they are the main contributors.
This is phenomenal! What a solid shape and appearance! All five builders are excited about this!
The structure begins what it was made to do – and boy does it do a good job!
The two builders stand back and watch in pride as the other three continue instructing and mastering it.
Though the structure is one that can withstand, the same cannot be said for the concrete used!
Oblivious to the two builders, the sturdy structure begins to crumble; not due to shape, but ingredients!
Slowly, but surely, the structure deteriorates – with no physical evidence.
All seems fine to others – all except the three builders. They know something is wrong…
It was such a promising structure, and it met those expectations at first, but now begins crumbling!
Inch by inch, it falls apart, storey by storey, this is not what the builders wanted, but the three know what needs to be done… and is yet to be revealed! |

i wrote this about me... im the structure... my 2 youth leaders are the 'physical' builders and the other three are the father, son and holy spirit - all who have helped me grow into who i am... who i finally want to be. but ive let them down... ive started to crumble... im hoping for some rennovations soon - but its all up to me. christian or not, we should strive to be the people we want to be - and dont let anyone stop you!! whether you believe in God or not, it doesnt matter - he still loves you... i just hope you see that one day!! ~angels exist~
