The battle(most can relate to this one)

And you don’t even know
The battle that wages inside
My body feels weak and slow
Someday Maybe, someday soon
I can tell you how I feel
It would be like taking my own life
Yet it would be surreal
I know how you’ll react
I have been through this before
But that was back when we weren’t tight
We now have something more
Every time I see you
Life gets more complicated
You’re happy just being friends
I would love it if we dated
They tell me not to worry
It’s common for girls my age
But I feel like no one understands
The battle that I wage |
