» Poem: My Lost Little Friend
My Lost Little Friend
written by chaoticthoughts

My porcelain doll was so pretty and fair
Everyday I would comb her hair
Fix her dress up so she looked real nice
She used to watch me cut with my knife
She'd grin at me with her pink lips
Approving as I smoke my cigarette that was lit
Her eyes were so pretty and clear
Some how she would tell me there's nothing to fear
She sat on my bed next to my pillow
Watch all the fights, hear all the screams
But she never once told me not to believe
She made me feel content and comfort in her presence
When I was around her I never had depression
Until one unpredictable night
When my father and I had a huge fight
He threw me in my closet, broke my doors
Then I kicked him onto the floor
I was yelling and crying
He was screaming and hurting
And my little doll sat there as if no one was fighting
He threw me for the last time
That's when I picked up that little doll of mine
I threw her at him in attempt to save myself
He caught her and threw her and that's when she fell
I heard her shattered to the ground
My heart stopped no one made a sound
My dad then left all sweaty and bruised
I sat there on the ground crying and infused
I picked up my little doll
To she her so dismangeled and dead
I swear I saw blood drops fall from her head
I thought I saw tears, her eyes were all wet
But she was just a doll
My porcelain doll who if were alive would be my best friend
