Roses are red --,-'-{@

Roses are red
Like the blood from your head
They pierced your side
To prove you were dead
Violets are blue
I bet your hands were too
As the nails that held you
Were driven through
Such a unique way
To show your love
Humbled to a man
But sent from above
You came to earth
To show me the way
and made a sacrifice
I cannot repay
You shed your blood
So i can see
The roses and the violets
You created for me
Every good thing
That is in my life
Is a blessing from you
Thats in disguise
The moment you died
The bridge was built
So i could talk to my father
Wtihout feeling guilt
Who but you
Could die for my sin
Your life on earth ended
So mine could begin
Roses are red
And violets are blue
And this is my
Love song to you

i wrote this at 12 last night... incase you dont know, its a love poem for my saviour Jesus Christ. i know most people here couldnt care less if i write about it; but please dont shun it just because of the topic - realise the poetic significance it holds... But Jesus died on that cross for me AND you... its just whether you believe it or not, and if you do, ill seeya in heaven ;) (p.s. please dont make this a religious debate or anything... you may write love poems about someone you love and thats all im doing here!).
p.s. i just added heaps more verses... coz i felt like i owed it... JESUS ROCKS!!!! \m/_
