» Poem: risk
risk
written by emo to the skibbies
01:17 AM 7/31/04
the plastered smiling face
began to chip away
reveling everything in place
now courageous enough to say

i gave it all away
have nothing but you
and i like it that way
risk, that plasters glue

risk it on you
everything i ever knew
you knew to break threw
and everything is real and true

you! you! risk my sanity
and were picking up velocity
get out of this torturing tower
take the leap, live for the hour

every breath we take
every step we make trying
another risk at stake
a risk at dying

washing the plaster free
and telling secrets just to flee
every risk can wash us clean
the end, glad of what we've seen
