"Paradise"

Your hand in mine
Everything seemed felt right
Everything seemed fine
My heart pounding with joy
Your eyes smiling at me
Walking side by side
It was meant to be
It was a blue, sunny day
It just felt so right
Then everything changed
The day turned to night
You let go of my hand
And walked away
I was scared a lonely
Nothing left to say
No more joy in my heart
Nothing left but pain
No more bright, blue sky
Just the pouring rain
I was down on my knees
With tears in my eyes
There is no more "us"
No more you and I... |
