Nothing (poem)

I want you to understand what I would do for you
I cannot just tell you
Words cannot describe how I feel
Nothing will ever be adequate to describe how I am feeling
I could say I love you
I could say id die for you
Strong words I know but still words none the less
And words mean nothing with out a bit of conviction behind them
I will make you understand
If it takes all eternity
You will know that I will always be here
I look into the future
And I see what we have waiting for us
I cant help but smile
Are dreams coming true
A baby on the way
Who will feel more love, more joy than ever thought possible to give
When I hold him in my arms
A tear running down my face
I hold him in one arm
And cuddle you with the other
Our family complete
After the start we have had
its amazing to think
that things could still go right for us
From the very start not one person gave us a chance
Not one person actually said congratulations
We were happy, but you something else
Sometimes no matter how much you want it to be love isn’t enough
Luckily in our case it was
We fought for us we fought for our future
And we will prove them wrong
Love is a complex thing
I don’t know how to describe how I feel for you
I look at you and freeze
I want to tell you things and the words just wont come out
Through fear of hurting you
You’re the last thing on my mind before I go to bed
And the first thing I think of when I wake up
Every night I have a dream about you
About what our future will be like
If I had one wish, it would be
To be able to hold you in my arms
And tell you I love you just once
Because with the love I feel for you
Saying it once the feelings will still last for ever
You are my heart and soul
You’re my everything
My breath my life I am nothing with out you
I love you with all my heart there is nothing I wouldn’t do. |
