High School Idols

She sang her heart out
They tortured her
Told her she would never make it
So she took a razor
And then she faded
He felt ashamed
For looking in the locker room
He never understood why
He was invisible
One day they noticed
Now he's swinging in his room
She followed the band
Held up her pride
But they only laughed
Twisted little lies
Now here she sits
Looking for something inside
He was the quarterback
He had a girlfriend
The prom king
They all thought he was happy
One day he came
With a gun in his hand
We all have feelings
Every day we deal
Choices are made
Lives are taken
But til the end we remain
The idols of high school |

| hey...u noe wht...i think ur poem means sumthn real deep...i mean all dese preps n stuff act like bitches n bastards...n dey mite show off n stuff...n dey mite not b nice 2 da oders...da popular ppl mite not care 4 da oders...but dat doesnt mean v become like dem 2...i mean evry1 feels pain...love...hatred..jelousy..its derr in evry1..no1 can b perfect or hav evrythng....a person mite hav a girlfrend but loads of problems at home da hes mutilating....bhind evry1 mean act dat a person does....derr is a reason...so i think b4 sayn anythn 2 dem...or jus wishing dey wer dead...v shud think teice or sumthn,...no1 likes 2 b hated...no1 likes 2 b alone///....evry1 want 2 popular...atleast among da ppl dey like...n i think sumtimes v all kinda get narrow minded...anyway gr8 poem....keep it up!!! |
